What are good beginner crotch rockets?

i weigh 170 6'1 can you tell me what are some good beginner sports bikes and what is the best helmet to get with it im 19What are good beginner crotch rockets?
Dont get a 250, you will hate it after a week. Especially at 6'1'' tall and 170 pounds. A 600 or something in that range would be a good starter.What are good beginner crotch rockets?
';crotch rockets';, by their general definition, i.e. super sport bikes, are not suitable for beginners.





But if you want something of that ilk, i'd suggest something like an FZ6 (yamaha fazer 600), or a kawasaki z750.





Both are inline 4 engines that are revvy and powerful, and sound sporty, but they're not the die hard sporty engines that you'd get in a newer CBR600, R6, GSX-R600 or ZXR600





The kawa z750, which I own, is a real head turner and has some decent acceleration in it. In the UK it's a lower insurance group than a CBR600 as well, and is a generally cheaper bike.

it is regarded as a naked sports bike, but is great for beginners.





If you get the z750, make sure it's green! The kawa green is the most popular and is the biggest head turner.
Honda cbr250 is an awesome bike for a beginner, but if your looking for something that is fast. you should get 400 and above CC.





As far as helmets go, your local kawasaki/honda/suzuki/yamaha shop should have something that will suite you perfectly.

That said you are big enuff to ride any bike you want.

Sign your drivers license DONAR CARD.
The only real beginner bike in crotch rockets are the 600s. Anything smaller isn't really a crotch rocket.
